They're finally hitched! Lauren and Steven said "I do" yesterday afternoon at St. Ignatius Church in Spring, TX. And in what I could gather in the short time we got to know each other (and after hearing all of their friends and family say the same), these two have a love we should all strive to find.
As mentioned in her bridal post, I met Lauren through Forever Texas, a spirit organization at UT. For the past year I have known her to be a hilarious, lovable, mature girl with so much ahead of her. Steven's a smart man not to let her go.
The wedding began as most do: the last minute running around, where's the groom's suit?, where are the bride's dress straps? type thing... nothing new :) To be honest, everything started so quickly that I almost missed the very beginning of the ceremony!
But the ceremony was gorgeous, of course, and the natural lighting helped me out so much!
After taking family and wedding party photos at the church, we rushed off to La Tranquila Ranch in Tomball, TX (where Lauren took her bridal photos as well). Just as we started to drive, it started to pour! Thankfully it cleared up in time to take outdoor wedding party photos while also cooling the place down a bit!
Having just been to the ranch last week, I knew what to expect. But it is always so awesome to see how the venues transform with all the lighting and decorations.
The remainder of the night was filled with cake eating, dancing, toasting, and mingling. Lauren and Steven sure know how to throw a party!
I had a wonderful time tonight thanks to Lauren and Steven, as well as their families and friends! I wish you all the best Mr. & Mrs. Gravesmill!
